Handcarved Incense Smoker Hunter

This is a hand-carved wooden incense smoker figure with a natural, unpainted finish.

The figure depicts a bearded man sitting on a simple bench-like seat that is part of the rectangular wooden base. The figure wears a cap and has a thick beard, giving him a rustic, folk-art look. The carving style is blocky and angular, emphasizing the handcrafted nature of the piece. The mouth opening (for incense smoke) is positioned in the center of the face, typical of Räuchermännchen (German incense smokers). The base is made from a separate piece of wood with visible natural grain, providing a sturdy foundation and contrasting nicely with the figure. This incense smoker has a traditional, artisanal feel — likely inspired by Erzgebirge folk carving traditions.
