About these terms
German Import Store at germanimportstore.com is the MarketPlace24 wholesale website operated by Xentas Inc. in Alberta, Canada. These terms apply to business purchases made directly through this website. Orders placed through Faire or another marketplace remain subject to the agreement and policies applicable to that channel. These terms do not replace rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Wholesale accounts and approval
Our wholesale service is for approved retailers and other eligible business buyers in Canada and the United States. You must provide accurate business and contact information and be authorized to purchase for the business. Submitting an application does not activate purchasing access. We review applications manually and notify you of our decision. Wholesale prices and ordering are available only after approval and assignment of the appropriate account role. Approval does not grant exclusivity, a territory, credit terms, or permission to use a third party’s trademarks.
Account security and business country
Keep your login details secure and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. Please tell us before ordering if your business ownership, approved country, billing details, or delivery arrangements change. Canadian accounts use CAD pricing; approved US accounts use USD pricing. The country assigned to your approved account determines your price list and currency. A changed delivery address does not entitle you to select another market’s prices.
Prices and payment
Check the currency, quantities and product specifications before submitting an order. Checkout submits your order without collecting payment. The displayed amount excludes shipping and applicable import charges and is not the final invoice total. After review, we calculate shipping and applicable import charges and email your final invoice with payment instructions. Please wait for that invoice before paying. We dispatch only after payment is received. Our Canadian and US wholesale price lists are separately maintained and are not a promise of conversion at a particular exchange rate. Prices may change for future orders. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is due in full before dispatch. The minimum wholesale order is CAD $250 for Canadian retailer accounts and USD $200 for US retailer accounts, based on the product subtotal before shipping, import charges and taxes. Any case-pack requirement, deposit, or special payment arrangement must be disclosed before you commit to the order. Account approval alone does not provide payment on account.
Orders and availability
An automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your request; it is not a guarantee of stock or final acceptance. We confirm acceptance through an express acceptance message or dispatch confirmation. If stock, a pricing error, or another material issue prevents us from fulfilling the order as submitted, we will contact you. We will not substitute goods or add charges without your agreement. If we cannot supply paid goods, we will refund the amount paid for those goods and any associated charges that are no longer applicable.
Changes and cancellations
Contact us promptly to request a change or cancellation. We will confirm whether the request can be accommodated before dispatch or production. Custom, personalized, and specially procured goods may have cancellation restrictions, but these must be disclosed and accepted when ordering. No new cancellation or restocking fee will be applied unless it was disclosed and agreed in advance.
Shipping and import charges
Shipping arrangements, charges, and any delivery estimates are stated with your order or an agreed quotation. Estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates unless we expressly agree to a guarantee. Review our Shipping and US Import Information policy. Import duties, taxes, customs processing, and carrier brokerage charges may be payable by the recipient unless the order expressly states that these charges are included or prepaid. No tariff rate or customs exemption is guaranteed by these terms.
Inspection returns and product concerns
Inspect shipments promptly and follow our Damaged Missing or Incorrect Items policy. Our Wholesale Returns and Refunds policy explains return requests, exclusions, authorization, and refunds. A change-of-mind return restriction does not automatically exclude a claim for goods that are damaged, defective, incorrectly supplied, or materially different from their description. Retailer responsibilities
Retailers independently determine their own resale prices. Any suggested retail price is advisory only. Preserve applicable product labels, safety warnings, instructions, and traceability information, and pass required information to your customers. Do not make unsupported claims about origin, safety, certification, warranty, or suitability. Do not resell a damaged or unsafe product before its condition has been resolved.
Website content and lawful use
Use this website lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or misuse another account. Website text, photographs, branding, and supplier materials are owned by Xentas Inc. or their respective rights holders. Ask us which materials may be used in your retail listings; account approval does not itself grant a general licence to copy all website content. We may suspend account access for misuse or materially inaccurate application information and will address any outstanding paid orders separately.
Product descriptions warranties and liability
We aim to describe products accurately. Small differences in photography or normal handmade variation do not excuse a materially inaccurate description or a genuine defect. Any specific manufacturer warranty is provided with the relevant product or confirmed separately; no additional warranty duration is promised here. Questions about defects should be sent to us so we can assess the appropriate remedy. Responsibility and remedies remain subject to the parties’ agreement and applicable law; these terms do not impose a blanket exclusion of liability for defective goods, personal injury, fraud, or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Applicable law changes and contact
These terms are intended to be governed by Alberta law and applicable Canadian federal law, subject to mandatory laws that apply to a transaction. These terms do not require arbitration or designate an exclusive court. Updated terms apply prospectively; we will not retroactively change the terms of an accepted order without agreement.
