Shipping and US Import Information

Effective October 29, 2026 · Version 2026-10-29

Where we ship

German Import Store serves approved wholesale businesses in Canada and the United States. Confirm unusual delivery arrangements, freight shipments, remote destinations, or delivery to a third party before ordering. Product availability and delivery options may differ by destination.

Charges and dispatch

Shipping is not charged at checkout. After you submit your order, we review it, determine shipping and applicable import charges, and email a final invoice with payment instructions. The checkout amount is not the final invoice total. Please wait for the final invoice before paying. We dispatch after payment is received. Any charges payable directly to the carrier or customs broker, rather than included in our invoice, will be identified separately. Do not assume that a retail promotion, marketplace shipping offer, or shipping-inclusive price applies to a direct wholesale order. We confirm stock and any special handling before dispatch. Partial shipments, backorders, and additional shipment charges require agreement. No universal free-shipping threshold or guaranteed dispatch interval is promised by this policy.

Delivery estimates and address accuracy

Delivery estimates depend on the carrier, destination, customs processing, weather, and other conditions. They are estimates unless we expressly confirm a guarantee in writing. Provide an accurate recipient name, business address, telephone number, and any delivery instructions required by the carrier. Contact us promptly about address corrections. Any resulting redelivery or address-correction costs will be explained and handled according to the agreed order terms and applicable law.

US duties taxes and brokerage

A US shipment may attract import duties, taxes, brokerage, disbursement, or customs processing charges. Unless your order expressly states that these amounts are included or prepaid, the recipient is responsible for applicable import charges. Country of origin is determined for the particular goods and is not simply the country from which the parcel is shipped. We do not promise a fixed tariff percentage, a low-value exemption, or duty-free entry. Please ask before ordering if you need clarification about what our quotation includes.

Customs cooperation and delivery problems

Respond promptly to legitimate carrier or broker requests required for clearance. If a parcel is delayed, refused, unclaimed, or returned, contact us so we can establish what happened and explain the available options. A refused delivery does not itself authorize a return or guarantee a refund. Any deduction for return freight, storage, or other third-party charges must be supported, consistent with the agreed terms, and subject to applicable law; it is not an automatic forfeiture of the entire order.

Damage and returns

Inspect shipments promptly and follow our Damaged Missing or Incorrect Items policy. Keep packaging until a delivery concern is resolved. For any authorized cross-border return, follow the return instructions and customs documentation we provide. Do not misdeclare the value or contents. Questions: info@marketplace24.ca.
