Handcarved Incense Smoker Forester

This is a wooden incense smoker figure carved in a rustic, natural wood finish.

The figure depicts an older man wearing a wide-brimmed hat, a jacket, and trousers. He holds a long rifle in one hand and a pipe in the other. A small dog rests at his feet on the base, adding a charming touch. The open mouth area is where the incense smoke would emerge, giving the effect that the man is smoking his pipe. The carving is unpainted, showcasing the natural grain of the wood and highlighting its traditional craftsmanship. The style suggests it may be inspired by Erzgebirge folk art from Germany, where such incense smokers (Räuchermännchen) are popular. This particular design likely represents a hunter or woodsman, complete with his loyal dog companion.
