The character of handmade products
Some products in our catalogue are handcrafted or use natural materials. Small differences in wood grain, colour, painted details, texture, dimensions, or individual decoration may be part of the making process. Check each product description for its materials, origin, intended use, and size. Not every product in the catalogue is handmade or made in Germany. A normal handmade variation does not excuse a broken component, unsafe condition, materially incorrect size, or a product that differs substantially from its description.
Wood temperature and humidity
Wood can respond to changes in temperature and humidity during transport, storage, and display. Keep wooden goods dry, away from direct heat, and protected from abrupt environmental changes. Follow the maker’s instructions for storage and acclimatization where provided. A loosened decorative glue joint should be photographed and reported rather than automatically treated as acceptable. Any simple repair is an option to discuss with us, not a blanket requirement for the retailer.
Christmas pyramids candles and incense smokers
Follow the instructions for the exact model. Use only the candle, tealight, or incense type and size specified by the manufacturer; not every pyramid uses the same candles and not every smoker accepts every cone size. Use a stable, heat-resistant surface with suitable clearance, ventilation, and supervision. Keep flames, hot components, and embers away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials. Never leave burning candles or incense unattended. Do not use damaged equipment.
Candle arches clocks and electrical items
Some candle arches use candles and others use electric lighting; follow the instructions for the supplied model. Confirm the marked voltage, plug, power supply, and intended market before connecting an electrical item. Do not improvise an electrical conversion or use a damaged cable. For clocks, use the specified batteries or power supply and follow the maker’s transport, setup, winding, and maintenance instructions. Do not force mechanisms or attempt repairs without guidance.
Decorations toys and retail displays
A decorative figure is not automatically a toy. Preserve age guidance, warnings about small parts, product labels, and applicable instructions. Keep delicate display items secure and use products only for their stated purpose. Do not represent a decoration as a children’s toy or a product as certified for a use unless that information is supported for the particular item.
Reporting a concern
Contact info@marketplace24.ca with the SKU, order number, photographs, and a description of the issue. Keep packaging for a delivery concern. Stop use and remove an unsafe item from sale while the matter is assessed.
